BREAKING NEWS! Horrific accident.

At least 15 people died in a severe road accident on Thursday in Manitoba, Canada. A bus carrying elderly individuals collided with a truck at an intersection near Carberry, about 170 kilometers west of Winnipeg. The bus was heading to a casino in Carberry.

Deputy Police Officer Rob Hill confirmed the fatalities and stated that the bus carried around 25 people, with ten others hospitalized. Both drivers survived, but the police did not disclose who was responsible for the accident.

Images showed destroyed wheelchair seats and walking frames near covered bodies. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Manitoba Premier Heather Stefanson expressed condolences to the victims’ families and the injured.

This is one of the deadliest road accidents in recent Canadian history, following a 2018 crash in Saskatchewan that killed 16 people. The deadliest occurred in 1997 in Quebec, with 44 fatalities.

In such tragedies, offering support to affected families and emphasizing road safety is crucial to prevent future incidents.
